Parents and school are expectations of learning - the commitment to self, family, community and the real world are indicators of significant, relevant, engaging and challenging opportunities that ultimately result in growth and maturity.
Embedded outcomes on the key learning areas secure growth and development in skills, knowledge and understanding. Shared international views - collaborative teams of professional staff reflect, monitor and evaluate the learning experience.
Parents are seen as partners in feedback is regular and timely. This feedback is individualized and aligned to the individual needs of each student.
Intercultural awareness and global citizenship are highlighted as a Primary focus and long use of technology is seen as significant in developing and enhancing international perspectives to integrate and think throughout the program offerings.
All members of the PYP team work together to create an environment that is supportive of student learning and wellbeing. We value caring, respect and honor diversity and build harmony and commitment to each other. We create solid relationships based on trust and a classroom support each other as we all grow and learn.

Child protection is the responsibility of all members of our team. Integrated child protection training is provided to all staff. Our staff applies the principles of common sense when dealing with children in maintaining and promoting good health.
A comprehensive programme occupies much of our work in-line within the context of core of social and emotional learning. Students participate in a range of activities with the counsellor and target specific goals, mental health education, skills support, life skill protection framework, self-advocacy. The counsellor provides individual and group opportunities to relate to a number of adults who they view as a support network. This support network plays an essential role in the steps with a genuine, trusting and skilled approach.
The school counsellor has additional roles including maintaining barriers in and out of the school, counselling individuals and groups through 'big problems', and leading specific skills development for key stakeholders and children.
