Community

We are a community of learners – students, teachers and parents.

Vivekananda Techno School has one of the most diverse communities of learners in Bangalore with students from more than thirty-five countries and teachers from over fifteen. We've had classrooms span through all grades of expectations from beginners to advanced learners, and we've done this well. Our founders envisioned a place of opportunities for learners, and we've now taken this to the next level. Every student is challenged to make the world a better place and along with their teachers, they participate in projects which involve meaningful participation with local communities.

The importance of teachers in any schooling programme cannot be overstated, especially when the population is highly mobile and students come in and out of our school at various times throughout the year. Our teachers are trained to engage in inquiry right along with their students, to promote reflective thinking to adapt to rapidly changing contexts.

Vivekananda's international school has the most diverse community of teachers in Bangalore with educators from the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, France, Mexico, the Philippines, Russia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, as well as India.

As teachers they are lifelong learners, sincerely curious in the continuous development of their craft.

The PTA set up the sale of delectable food items from families from twenty-seven global flavors of flavors, celebrating diversity through culinary delights. With more than twelve varieties, the PTA raised over ₹25,000 from a bustling international community!
